Dr. Faisel Ashtewi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. He went on to complete an advanced three-year residency in prosthodontics at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University, where he received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Prosthodontics along with a Master of Science degree in Biomaterials (MSD). Since 2013, Dr. Ashtewi has practiced as a specialist in prosthodontics, dedicating his career to the restoration and replacement of teeth with precision and artistry.
Committed to academic excellence and the advancement of his profession, Dr. Ashtewi has served as a clinical instructor at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry. Prior to relocating to Chicago, he also held a clinical teaching appointment at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he mentored dental students for over two years. His involvement in dental education reflects his dedication to shaping the next generation of clinicians while remaining at the forefront of evolving techniques and technologies.
Dr. Ashtewi is deeply committed to continuing education, consistently pursuing advanced training to integrate the latest evidence-based innovations into his practice. His patients benefit from comprehensive, state-of-the-art prosthodontic care delivered in a refined, comfortable, and patient-centered environment. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering standards of excellence, Dr. Ashtewi is regarded as a respected prosthodontist throughout the Chicago and greater Illinois communities. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Ashtewi enjoys an active and well-balanced lifestyle. He is passionate about fitness and the outdoors, with interests that include hiking, biking, and snowboarding. A dedicated traveler and culinary enthusiast, he enjoys exploring new cities, cultures, and cuisines around the world.
